The numeric value after they keyword "sleep" is the number of seconds the code sleep before repeating itself again. So a value of 20 20 secs means, the same ls -lhrt command gets repeated after 20 seconds and shows you the most recent downloaded side of the file. On a Mac, there are two ways to keep an eye on the progress of a download. For files being downloaded from the Mac App Store, the easiest way to check their progress is by mousing over the Launchpad icon in the Dock.
You'll see a progress bar below the Launchpad icon and above the number of megabytes currently downloaded and the total file size. Alternatively, since you already have the Mac App Store open when downloading a file from it, you can also keep an eye on downloads from within its confines. The new download bar on the downloads folder is rubbish IMO.
Bring back the window option lol. Even better is to change the Safari Preference to Save downloaded download files to the Desktop.
